Jersey Bayern Munich 1971/72 RetroRelive the glory of the Bayern Munich in the 1970s with the team's retro shirt, designed by Copa Football. A must-have for football fans.
Without prior experience in club management, Udo Lattek took over Bayern in 1970 and celebrated the first of six Bundesliga titles he would win in Munich at the end of the 1971-72 season.
With a team built around the backbone of Maier, Beckenbauer, and Müller, Lattek accelerated the development of emerging stars like Paul Breitner and Uli Hoeness to create an exciting, attack-oriented team. Bayern racked up a record Bundesliga total of 101 goals during the season, with 40 coming from the prolific Gerd Müller, and scored at least 5 goals at home on seven different occasions.
