Material

Eco Softlock: All Macron clothing is made with eco-friendly textiles sourced from 100% recycled polyester fibres derived from PET and certified by the Global Recycle Standard.

Derived from oil or natural gas, PET is a 100% recyclable material reintroduced into the market as new eco-friendly products. More specifically, PET collected after its first use is reduced into 2 mm flakes and then processed to obtain a fibre that guarantees the same performance as virgin yarn.

The yarn does not lose its primary characteristics during processing and will therefore be recyclable multiple times. Finally, compared to virgin polyester, recycled PET polyester has the advantage of consuming less energy during the production chain. For example, it takes 13 plastic bottles of 0.5 l to make one shirt.
