Copa Football Real Betis Seville Club Jersey 1915/16

Real Betis, as we know it today, is the result of a merger at the end of 1914 between Sevilla Balompié and Betis FC. The grant of royal patronage from King Alfonso XIII a few months earlier gave rise to the iconic name Real Betis Balompié, founding an institution that remains strong to this day. A lesser-known fact is that following this historic merger and the new name, Betis played its first matches in striking yellow and black striped shirts. Although the club quickly returned to its historic verdiblanco, yellow and black remains iconic for fans of the club's heritage.
